The ethical issues and paranoia surrounding the law of photographing children in today's society is confusing and somewhat farcical. But at what point will the photography of children be completely forbidden? - with Anna Brooks

I have looked at the behaviour of a set of athletes immediately after sport, in this series a group of Mixed Martial Arts boxers who fought each other in a cage, who then came out and were photographed in the same environment as soon as they were finished, so as to capture the aftermath and their emotional state. I like the varied responses, for example looking still hyped up and ready to fight again, or looking slightly defeated or defiant and tough.

It is often said that 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder', and by photographing seemingly mundane objects and moments where one would think to find no beauty at all, I wanted to investigate this to see if I could find beauty in the ordinary, whilst looking through the eyes of my photographic lens.
